My clients on this project were almost empty nesters and were not sure whether they wanted to stay in their current home or let it go. After a little discussion, they came to the decision that their kitchen needed help either way. More storage and function was needed.
They wanted change as they had had a cream coloured kitchen for 20 years. We decided to do a lighter island to create a softer focal point and keep the centre of the kitchen light and airy.
The backsplash was a definite fabulous find with lots of texture. It was a little difficult to work with, to our tilers? dismay, but it came out fabulous!
After the renovation was complete, the home owners decided to stay!
